Graduates of this program have worked in an exceedingly style of settings and have enclosed home-birth practitioners; apply administrators for free-standing birth centres; administrators of midwifery academic programs; and administrators of CNM services in massive teaching and tiny community hospitals.
An important feature of the program is its twin major. Upon completion of the program graduates are eligible for 2 national certifications. They will take the certification examination for Certified Nurse-Midwives given by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
They will additionally become certified as Women's Health Nurse-Practitioners by the National Certification Corporation (NCC).
